Thank You is the second studio album by US singer Meghan Trainor . It was released worldwide in May 2016 and received mixed to positive reviews from music critics.
Creation and publication
In 2015, Trainor announced that they would release a new album sometime in 2016. In January 2016, she announced that she would pick the first single for the album that month. The album could be pre-ordered on iTunes on March 4th, 2016 , exactly on the day the first single NO was released. From May 6, 2016, the album could be streamed for free on Apple Music .
For her "new image" she changed her hair color from blonde to chestnut red.
Singles
The first single NO was released on March 4, 2016. It landed at number 11 on the US charts in its first week. The second single Me Too was released on May 5, 2016. On August 29, Better was released with Yo Gotti as the third single. The song was previously released as a promotional single on April 22nd.

Four promotional singles were released between the releases of the first two singles.

The song Mom contains a phone recording where Trainor calls her mother Kelli Trainor and tells her how much she loves her.
criticism
Thank You received mostly positive and average reviews from music critics. It has a "Metacritic Score" of 60 out of a maximum of 100 points. The Guardian only gave the album 2 stars out of 5.
