Jaroussky made his debut in Germany in February 2004 when he stood in for the sick Andreas Scholl . He was celebrated as well as when he appeared in a Monteverdi production at the Berlin State Opera under René Jacobs . Jaroussky works regularly with the ensembles “La Fenice”, “Elyma” under Gabriel Garrido , the “Ensemble Matheus” under Jean-Christophe Spinosi and “L'Arpeggiata” under Christina Pluhar . In 2008, 2012, 2013 and 2015 he was awarded the ECHO Klassik award. In 2015 he received the Handel Prize of the City of Halle, awarded by the Handel House Foundation .
