Grammy Award for Best Children's Album

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Grammy Award for Best Children's Album , in German "Grammy Award for the best children's album", is a music prize that has been awarded at the annual Grammy Awards since 2012 . The award goes to artists for the best music and radio play album for children.

For the Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance, the Grammies awarded until 2011 for Best Musical Album for Children and Best Spoken Word Album for Children were merged. This corresponds to a return to the level before 1994, when only one Grammy for Best Album for Children was awarded. The merger took place because NARAS wanted to significantly reduce the number of categories and, in some cases, abolish the separation of vocal and instrumental performances in many categories.
