Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance

The Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance ("Grammy Award for the best country solo performance") is a music award that has been presented at the annual Grammy Awards since 2012 . The award is given to artists for solo performances, including vocal performances or instrumental performances in the field of country music . The price is limited to individual tracks or singles.

For the Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance, the Grammys awarded until 2011 for Best Female Country Vocal Performance , Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Instrumental Performance were merged, as the NARAS significantly reduce the number of categories and in some cases the separation of vocal and and wanted to abolish instrumental performances in the categories.

So far, the prize has only been awarded to American artists; the most frequent nominations without a prize went to singer Blake Shelton , who was nominated three times.
