On February 15, 2016, the most important American music award, the Grammy , was awarded for the 58th time . Traditionally, the 2016 Grammy Awards ceremony took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles . The award is given to musicians, songwriters and other successful players in the music business. The basis was publications between October 1, 2014 and September 30, 2015. The nominations were announced on December 6, 2015.
