Stan Lynch

Stanley Joseph "Stan" Lynch (born May 21, 1955 in Cincinnati ) is a songwriter and (music) producer. From 1976 to 1994 he was the drummer for the band Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers .

In 1994 he left the band because of differences with Tom Petty . He went back to Florida and began putting together The Eagles ' comeback album , Hell Freezes Over , with Don Henley . He then went on tour with the Eagles.

He has also been working with Toto since 1995 , for example he co-wrote some tracks on the Tambu album .

In 2002, he rejoined Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame .

He currently works in St. Augustine , Florida , as a songwriter and producer.
