The Bird and The Bee is the current project of the American musicians Greg Kurstin ("the Bee") and Inara George ("the Bird"), which is currently a mixture of Motown Jazz and other indie rock / electronica style elements enriched electropop plays.

history

Inara George met Greg Kurstin through her producer Michael Andrews . The intensive preparations for the production of their first joint music release began with George and Kurstin in his home studio in Echo Park , California ( USA ). On October 31, 2006 the EP was released again and again and again and again .

In December 2006 the single F * cking Boyfriend reached the "US Hot Dance Club Play Charts".

Her actual debut album The Bird and the Bee was released on January 23, 2007 by the Blue Note Records label.

From March 27 (Seattle) to April 11, 2007 (New York), The Bird and The Bee toured nine US cities, with two more concerts in Toronto and Montreal (Canada).
