Music project

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A music project is a musical collaboration that is limited to a specific goal, such as the production of sound carriers , film music , but also charitable and other social purposes. This orientation distinguishes the music project from music group types such as the band or the orchestra , which usually work together over an indefinite period of time.

However, the transition between music group and music project is fluid. In electronic music , music projects can have a similar public profile as a band. In social work , on the other hand, there are music projects with educational or therapeutic goals.
