Big Sean (born March 25, 1988 in Santa Monica , California ; real name Sean Michael Anderson ) is an American rapper .

Life

Big Sean has been under contract with rapper and producer Kanye West's GOOD Music label since 2007 . His album Finally Famous from 2011 reached chart position 3 on the Billboard 200 in the USA . With Pusha T , 2 Chainz and Kanye West, Big Sean worked on the collaboration single Mercy , which was first released in April 2012. Big Sean recorded several music videos with directors such as Hype Williams and NABIL .

His album Dark Sky Paradise , on which Kanye West , Lil Wayne and DJ Mustard participated, was successful in Germany . The songs I Know, One Man Can Change the World and I Don't Fuck With You achieved platinum status, the latter four times as high.

In 2017, Big Sean released his fourth studio album, I Decided . In October the album reached platinum status in the US.

In the same year Big Sean cooperated in the song "Miracle" by the British band Coldplay. This song made it to number 54 in the UK charts.

Private

Until April 2014, Big Sean was in a relationship with actress Naya Rivera ( Glee ). From October 2014 to April 2015, Big Sean was in a relationship with the American singer Ariana Grande .
