Clique was released on September 3, 2012 as the fourth and final pre- single for Cruel Summer . The name is, like the lyrics, from Kanye West's music label GOOD Music (" Ain't nobody fuckin 'with my clique "). The song includes a sample of James Brown's song People (It's Bad) . The introduction will be sung by the American singer James Fauntleroy.

Clique has been most successful in the United States , where the song reached number 12. In Canada , Belgium ( Flanders ) and Denmark it reached positions 16, 33 and 36 and in Australia and France positions 39 and 42. Clique did not reach any chart positions in Germany .
