Knock You Down is a song by American R&B singer Keri Hilson and musicians Ne-Yo and Kanye West . The song is the second single from Keri Hilson's first studio album In A Perfect World .. . The single was first broadcast on US and UK radios on April 7, 2009. Knock You Down is Keri Hilson's most successful international single to date. With the song Keri Hilson became very popular.
Hilson and Ne-Yo already knew each other from their co-songwriting days. In a September 2008 interview with Rap-Up, Ne-Yo said, “For one thing, I think Keri Hilson is too freaky to be in the background. Second, her voice is amazing and on top of that, she can write. So I think she's definitely one that deserves the spotlight ” .

The music video for Knock You Down , directed by Chris Robinson premiered on March 23, 2009. The video begins with Keri Hilson, she slowly falls back on a bed, then Kanye West appears and introduces the song with his rap verses. Hilson and West next reflect on their past relationships. In the music video, West plays a painter who is drawing a portrait of Keri Hilson. Hilson and West both get closer, Hilson shows West exciting sex poses and positions in her bed. You can see Hilson rolling and dancing in bed, in between scenes are always faded in that show Hilson singing the song against a white background. Then you see Hilson again with West, both of them fall back on the floor, like Hilson on her bed before. Then it is shown how Hilson has to choose between the two men (Kanye West and Ne-Yo) for the purpose of a relationship. The video was shot in America.

On the US Billboard Hot 100 , Knock You Down made it to number three on the charts , making it Hilson's first top 10 single in the United States. In Germany, the song rose to number 30 in the German single charts . In the United Kingdom , the single made it to number five on the singles chart.
