Superhuman is a song by the American musician Chris Brown in which the R&B singer Keri Hilson appears as a guest musician. The title was released on October 3rd, 2008 as the sixth and final release from Brown's second studio album Exclusive , but is only on the "Exclusive: The Forever Edition". It did not get into the Billboard Hot 100 , making it the first song by Brown that did not achieve an official, cross-genre chart placement in the US.

Background and music video

The song was written by Warren Felder and James Fauntleroy , with Felder also acting as a producer under his stage name Oak . It was recorded at The Underlab studios in Los Angeles , California .

Keri Hilson and Brown had worked together on Brown's debut album, Chris Brown , when Hilson wrote the song " Young Love " for Brown. In 2011, the title " One Night Stand " was released as the third release from Hilson's second studio album No Boys Allowed . In 2009, Brown also made a guest appearance in the music video " Slow Dance, " a single from Hilson's first album.

Erik White co-directed the music video with Brown. This was filmed in Charlotte , North Carolina, USA . The shoot was the seventh time Brown and White worked together. Keri Hilson can also be seen in the clip.

success

"Superhuman" reached number 32 on the official charts in the United Kingdom, but did not make it into the hit lists in Germany. Also in the Billboard Hot 100 , the song did not get a placement, which has not been the case with any other single Browns. While it also did not enter the charts in the Hot R & B / Hip-Hop songs , it did achieve other placements in genre-specific hit lists in the USA, such as in the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles .
