No Bullshit (also No BS ) is a song by the American musician Chris Brown . It was released on January 18, 2011 as the second and final single from the mixtape Fan of a Fan , whereupon it reached number 62 on the Billboard Hot 100 . It was originally featured on Brown's first mixtape In My Zone (Rhythm & Streets) , and it was also used on the singer's fourth studio album .

background

The song was written by Brown, Kevin McCall, and producer duo Tha Bizness , and recorded by Brian Springer at In Your Ear Studio in Richmond , Virginia . Springer did the mixing at At the Records Plant in Los Angeles , California .

Originally the title was released as the B-side of the single " Deuces ". It can also be found on Brown's first mixtape In My Zone (Rhythm & Streets) and was reused for the album FAME . On the album, however, the song is listed as "No BS", while it was otherwise used under its official name.

Music video

The music video was shot by Colin Tilley , who had worked with Brown many times in this capacity. On May 24th, long before the single was officially released, the song premiered on the same day as the clip of the song " Deuces ", which was also shot by Tilley. The clip for "No Bullshit" shows Brown together with a girl who is his girlfriend.

success

Commercial win

The song was far less commercially successful than its predecessor. After entering the Billboard Hot 100 at 89th place, it later reached its top ranking at 62nd place. This makes it Brown's most unsuccessful single after “ Wall to Wall ” and “ Wet the Bed ” in the USA. The title was able to place itself much higher in the Hot R & B / Hip-Hop Songs , where it reached position three.
