Best Love Song is a song by US contemporary R&B musician T-Pain in a duet with Chris Brown . It was released on March 22, 2011 as the first single from T-Pain's fourth studio album Revolver . After its release, it reached number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 40 in the UK, whereas it did not enter the charts in Germany.

background

The song was released on March 22, 2011 as the first single from the album Revolver, which was released in December of the same year. The single was preceded by the three promo records "Take Your Shirt Off", "Reverse Girl" and "Rap Song", which, however, were not on the album's track list. The title was written by T-Pain, Brown and Tramaine Winfrey, who was also the producer of the song under his stage name Young Fyre.

On February 7th, T-Pain published the songs "Best Love Song" and "Separated" on its Twitter page. In doing so, he leaked it, as some of the poor quality excerpts had already reached the Internet. He also criticized the lack of respect for “this type of art”.

Music video

The music video directed by Erik White was first shown on May 25, 2011. The premiere took place at Vevo . The clip is about a girl that both Brown and T-Pain are trying to impress. After an opening sequence in which the two of them talk to her, the main part of the video takes place on a stage where the two musicians perform together. Her beloved, who is dancing in the audience with other viewers, leaves the club with a stranger at the end of the clip.
