Do not Wake Me Up is a Contemporary R & B - song of the American singer Chris Brown . The piece was written by Brown, Alain White, Brian "BK" Kennedy and the Italian DJ Benny Benassi and was released in May 2012 as the fourth single from Brown's fifth studio album Fortune .
criticism
Don't Wake Me Up got mixed reviews. Lewis Corner from Digital Spy called the song "the greatest anthem of summer 2012". The auto-tune effect in the chorus was criticized, however.
Music video
The video for Don't Wake Me Up was shot by Collin Tilley on May 14, 2012 in a desert and published on June 11, 2012. Chris Brown said many of his music videos are set in a dream world, and now he wants to make a video about these dream worlds. He wakes up in a dream in a dream, like in the movie Inception .
Charts
Don't Wake Me Up was a number one hit in Austria and number two in England , Australia and New Zealand , while it peaked at number 10 in the US. In Germany it rose to number 11.
