Till I Die is a song by US R&B singer Chris Brown together with US rappers Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa and the third single from Brown's fifth studio album Fortune . It was released on April 13, 2012.

Background and composition

Till I Die was written by Chris Brown, Sean Anderson , Cameron Thomaz, Jr. , Nathaniel Hills and Marcella Araica and released on RCA Records , with Nathaniel Hills also producing it. The single was mixed by Jaycen Joshua and Trehy Harris.

The song is mostly about taking drugs and partying. Till I Die contains sadomasochistic allusions like Now knock that pussy out / Yeah it's just a lil 'cat nap . Chris Brown himself said about the single that the lyrics were written very colloquially and deal with everyday life.

Till I Die is a very strong from the Dirty South -influenced rap - and Contemporary R & B -Song. According to Lewis Corner from Digital Spy , some of the synthesizer elements and the intro also come from dubstep . The song was mainly recorded in Los Angeles.

Music video

The video for Till I Die was released in downtown Los Angeles on May 30, 2012. It shows an office where Brown is before he then meets Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa in the elevator and they are then chauffeured to a party in the Pontiac Parisienne by Snoop Dogg . At the party they meet their buddies and get drunk, so Chris Brown kicks around. In addition to the latter, guests include rappers Method Man , Redman and actor Jamie Kennedy . The video for Till I Die currently has around 8 million clicks across Europe on YouTube .
