Deal or No Deal is the second studio album by the US rapper Wiz Khalifa . It was released in the USA on November 24, 2009, and was available in Germany since December 4 of the same year. The album was released by Rostrum Records and the Taylor Gang Records label, which Khalifa founded himself in 2008 . In Germany it was published on December 4, 2009.
background
In 2009 a total of three mixtapes by Wiz Khalifa were released, Flight School in April , How Fly (with Curren $ y ) in August and Burn After Rolling in November . In July 2009 Khalifa also terminated his recording contract with Warner Bros. Records , to which he had been under contract since 2007 in addition to Rostrum Records . Since then he has published his music exclusively with the independent label Rostrum and his own label Taylor Gang Records and only made his major label debut in 2011 with the help of Atlantic Records , to which he has also been under contract since 2010.

In the US, it did not make it onto the cross-genre Billboard 200 . It did not enter the charts in Europe either. The rap album of the United States, however, it placed itself in tenth place in the Top R & B / Hip-Hop Albums , it gained rank 25. In the list of digital album sales ( digital album ) in the US it reached a position (position 25 ). Since Khalifa's record label Rostrum Records is an independent label , “Deal or No Deal” also entered the independent album charts , where it reached number 13. In the Top Heatseekers , an album hit list in which only albums can be placed where the artist has not yet achieved an album release on the Billboard 200 or the top ten of a genre-specific list, the publication was in second place.
In the first week around 5,900 units were sold, and by January 2011 a total of around 55,000 records had been sold.
