This discography is an overview of the musical works of the American rapper Jay-Z . According to sources, he has sold over 115.4 million records worldwide in his career, making him one of the most successful individual interpreters of all time . In his homeland alone , according to the record awards , he sold more than 88 million records. So far, eleven of his solo albums have made it to number 1 on the US Billboard 200 , of which his third studio album, Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life , is the most successful with over ten million sales worldwide. In Germany, the rapper has been able to sell more than 2.1 million records to date.
