Scarface (rapper)
Scarface (born November 9, 1970 ; real name Bradley Jordan ) is an American rapper from the South Acres neighborhood in Houston , Texas . He became known as a member of the Geto Boys formation .
Career
Bradley Jordan began his rap career in the mid-1980s. At the age of 18 he released his first single as DJ Akshen in 1988, entitled "Big Time / I'm DJ Akshen My Man," on H-Town Records . Label boss James Smith heard about it and was immediately enthusiastic. He took him under his wing. In 1989, Akshen together with Willie D with the Geto Boys one.
After Jordan released his solo album “Mr. Scarface Is Back ”and it became a huge hit, he left the Geto Boys and focused on his solo career. He chose Scarface as his stage name, based on the main character of the film of the same name . He was able to record many more successes and worked with artists like Master P , Bun B , Jadakiss , Faith Evans , Chamillionaire , Jay-Z , 2Pac , Nas , Ice Cube , Dr. Dre , Too Short , Beanie Sigel , Young Jeezy , G-Unit , Raekwon and Gang Starr together. The Source awarded the two albums "The Diary" and "The Fix" with 5 mics each. In 2007 he released his album entitled "Made". On December 2, 2008, another official studio album was released with the title "Emeritus". On April 21, 2015, Scarface published his autobiography Diary Of A Madman with Benjamin Meadows-Ingram .
