Just Blaze
Just Blaze (* 14. January 1978 as Justin Smith in Paterson, New Jersey ) is an American hip hop production .
biography
Smith was already a DJ in his teens and came into contact with producing in high school.
Although he did an internship in Manhattan's Cutting Room , he studied computer science at Rutgers University for three years after the internship . Since he preferred to invest his energy in producing, he dropped out of his studies. Jay-Z got a promo CD from Just Blaze, which resulted in a long-term collaboration between the Roc-A-Fella Records label .
Since Roc-A-Fella was taken over by the Def Jam label , he founded his own label Fort Knocks Entertainment as a sub-label of Atlantic Records .
