Rashawnna Guy (born October 1, 1979 in Chicago , Illinois ), known by her stage name Shawnna , is an American rapper .

Music career

Shawnna, daughter of blues musician Buddy Guy , is one of the first female performers to be signed to Def Jam by rapper Ludacris' record label Disturbing Tha Peace Records . Previously active in the music industry as a former member of the Chicago duo Infamous Syndicate , she is best known for her slippery lyrics and quick speech. She has released a total of two solo albums , Worth tha Weight (2004) and Block Music (2006).
