Half-A-Mill

Half-A-Mill (born January 25, 1973 in Brooklyn ; † October 24, 2003 there ; actually Jasun Ward ) was an American rapper. He also worked under the pseudonym Mill Gates .

Career

Half-A-Mill was an underground rapper in the mid-1990s. In 1997 he had his breakthrough in the USA with his feature on The Album , the album by the hip-hop crew The Firm , which consisted of rappers Nas , AZ , Nature and Foxy Brown .

In 2000 Mill's debut album Milion was released . As singles, the pieces were Some Niggaz , which in 1998 on the soundtrack to the film Belly was to find Thug Ones and Where BK At? decoupled. Milion sold 40,000 copies.

In 2002, Half-A-Mill's second album Da Hustle Don't Stop followed via Warlock Records .

On October 24, 2003, Ward was shot dead. His body was found in his apartment in Brooklyn, New York . At the time of his death, work was in progress on his third solo album.
