Juelz Santana (born February 18, 1982 in Harlem , New York ; actually LaRon Louis James ) is an American rapper .

Life

Santana joined the hip-hop group The Diplomats at age 14 , which also includes Cam'ron , Jim Jones , Hell Rell, Jha Jha, SAS , Un Kasa, J.R. Writer, and Freekey Zeekey.

His mother runs his own clothes shop 'Santana's Town' in Harlem. His grandmother died of bone cancer some time ago. He dedicated the video 'Raindrops' to her, but it was never broadcast on television. Juelz Santana is now the father of a son. In 2010 he brought out his own line of clothing together with the designer Mr. Slim Mils.

In 2015 the "Diplomats" returned after several years of radio silence with the mixtape American Dream .

Trademark

Santana's trademark is wearing a bandana . Pronouncing words like “AY!” Or “ya diiig ?!” are also his trademark.

Offenses

In March 2008, Juelz Santana was stopped with his car on suspicion of illegal driving and was unable to show a valid driver's license . The police then searched his car and found banned dum-dum bullets wrapped in a sock and $ 19,500 in cash in a bag full of candy. According to the police, the rapper is said to have had marijuana with him. As a result, a trial took place in the same month in which he was sentenced to five months in prison.
