Lee Brice (July 2011)

Lee Brice (born June 8, 1979 in Sumter , South Carolina ) is an American country rock singer.

biography

Brice grew up listening to music and sports, but when an arm injury curtailed the talented footballer's career opportunities, he chose music and moved to Nashville . Thanks to his relationships with Doug Johnson of Curb Records , he was immediately signed and wrote songs for stars like Jason Aldean and Garth Brooks .

He released his first own album in 2007, which was unsuccessful at first. His big break came in 2009 with the song Love Like Crazy . In August it entered the country charts for the first time and became a long-running hit. Over a year later, it set a new record for these charts with 55 chart weeks and reached position 3 as the best placement. The song also stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for a long time. The album of the same name was also quite successful and reached number 9 on the country album charts.
