Lecrae
Lecrae (* 9. October 1979 in Houston , Texas , as Lecrae Devaughn Moore ) is an American gospel rapper.
biography
Lecrae grew up in Denver and San Diego , and when she was 19, decided to volunteer in the Church. He first gave Bible studies and organized other projects, and then turned to Christian rap music. In 2004 he released his first album called Real Talk , which immediately hit the US gospel charts. At the same time he founded the 116 clique with other musicians and recorded albums there too.
His second solo album, After the Music Stops , made it into the top 5 of the gospel charts in 2006. From album to album Lecrae was able to increase its success. With album number three, Rebel , he not only topped the gospel charts for two weeks, but also made it to number 60 in the official album charts . The album Rehab made it into the top 20 and was nominated for an award at the 2011 Grammy Awards . The sixth album, Gravity , was awarded a Grammy two years later for best gospel album . His seventh album "Anomaly" was the first album by a Christian rapper in September 2014 and reached number 1 in the official album charts . In the song it contains Messengers , he with a total For King & Country had received, he got in 2015 his second gospel Grammy.
