Marsha Ambrosius (born August 8, 1977 in Liverpool ) is an English R&B singer and songwriter.

biography

Marsha Ambrosius became known as one half of the R&B band Floetry . After three very successful albums in the USA, the duo separated and Ambrosius began a solo career. She signed with the Aftermath label from Dr. Dre , but there was no publication and so they separated again in 2009. The singer worked with other artists like Alicia Keys , Mario and Wale before signing with J Records .

At the end of 2010 her first solo single Hope She Cheats on You was released , which made it straight into the US charts. The debut album Late Nights & Early Mornings was released in February 2011 and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 .

Marsha Ambrosius is also successful as a songwriter for others. Among other things, she was co-author of Butterflies of Michael Jackson , the 2002 reached in the US place 14th
