Falling into You is the fourth English-language studio album by the Canadian singer Celine Dion . It was released on March 8, 1996 on the Columbia Records label.

Falling into You entered the German album charts at number 24 on March 25, 1996 and only reached the highest position on December 2, 1996 at number 5. In total, it stayed in the top 100 for 89 weeks. In contrast, the album topped the charts in Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden and Norway.

Sales figures and awards

Falling into You was awarded a five-fold golden record in Germany in 1998 for more than 1.25 million units sold . This makes it one of the best-selling music albums in this country . In the United States, Falling into You was awarded eleven times platinum in 2001 for over eleven million sales. Worldwide sales amount to around 32 million, making it one of the most successful music albums of all time.
