Dan Hill

Dan Hill (born June 3, 1954 in Toronto , Ontario ; actually Daniel Hill Jr. ) is a Canadian pop singer and songwriter .

Career

Dan Hill is the son of social scientist Daniel Hill and the brother of author Lawrence Hill .

His greatest success is the song Sometimes When We Touch , which he released on his album Longer Fuse in 1977 and of which Rod Stewart , Barry White and Tina Turner published cover versions. Probably the best-known version of this ballad is the duet with Rique Franks, a singer also from Canada, with whom Hill recorded some songs for his 1993 album Let Me Show You (Greatest Hits and More) .

In addition, Dan Hill sang the theme song to the movie Rambo with Sylvester Stallone , It's a Long Road . Its musical theme is taken up again in the final scene in the latest film in the film series, John Rambo .

Especially in Canada, Dan Hill is still a successful and well-known singer.
