Blasius Lupus

Blasius Lupus (in Czech Blažej Vlk , also Blažej Vlk ze Strážné ) (* around 1350; † 1410 ), was a Catholic clergyman, provost at the Collegium Carolinum and the All Saints College, and rector of Charles University .

Life

The place of birth and dates of life of Blasius Lupus are not known. In 1369 he acquired the Baccalaureat at the Charles University, where he was assigned to the Bohemian university nation . After completing his master's degree in 1372, he studied theology . From 1376 to 1380 he belonged to the Collegium Carolinum, of which he was provost in 1376. In 1380 he was ordained a priest. In 1383 he had a canonical at the All Saints College in Prague, and in the same year he was rector of Charles University. From 1389 to 1396 he was canon at St. Veit and for 1392 he is pastor of Wolin and dean of the artist faculty . From 1392 to 1407/1410 he was dean at the Allerheiligenkolleg.
