Julius Deuschle
Karl Aloys Julius Deuschle (born December 18, 1828 in Dorheim, today in Friedberg (Hesse) , † September 16, 1861 in Berlin ) was a German high school teacher and history of philosophy .
The son of a Hessian Rentmeister's visited Deuschle the Hanauer high school and moved in 1847 to Berlin University to Classical Philology study. Here he made friends with Paul Heyse . He later moved to Bonn and Marburg . In 1851 he became a teacher in Marburg, 1852 in Hanau, 1855 in Magdeburg at the pedagogy of the monastery of Our Dear Women . In 1858 he went to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Gymnasium in Berlin, where he died in 1861 at the age of 32 after many years of illness.
In his research, Deuschle dealt with the Greek philosopher Plato , on whom he provided comments, analyzes, editions ( Gorgias , Protagoras ) and translations. This includes the grammar school programs The Platonic Philosophy of Language (Marburg 1852), About Platonic Myths (Hanau 1854) and About Platonic Politics (Magdeburg 1857).
