Silk City is a British / American House - duo , consisting of the two music producers Mark Ronson and Diplo . They worked with artists like Dua Lipa , Desiigner and Daniel Merriweather .
history
January 2018, American DJ and record producer Diplo and British musician , DJ, songwriter and record producer Mark Ronson announced a new project called Silk City. Her debut single "Only Can Get Better", which was created in collaboration with Daniel Merriweather , was released on May 25, 2018. By July 2018, they released two more singles.
Her third and last single, "Electricity", was co-created with British singer and songwriter Dua Lipa and was released on September 6, 2018. For this, the artists were awarded the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording . The single made it into various national charts, including number 4 in the UK , 46 in Switzerland, 61 in Austria and 64 in Germany.
