Sabine Devieilhe
Sabine Devieilhe (born December 12, 1985 in Ifs ) is a French opera singer ( soprano ).
Life
Devieilhe attended the music conservatory in Caen and a high school with a musical branch from the age of 12 . After graduating from high school, she studied music in Rennes and was a member of the choir in the city's opera house. From 2008 she studied musicology, cello and singing at the Conservatoire national supérieur in Paris , which she graduated with honors after three years.
In 2011 she received the First Prize at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse . Due to the success of her first engagements, she was given the opportunity to perform with renowned orchestras such as the Orchester National d'Île de France and the Orchester de Paris . Devieilhe is a member of various ensembles, including Pygmalion and Les Cris de Paris .
In Germany she could be heard at the Cologne Philharmonic at the end of 2012 and in Bremen with works by Jacques Offenbach . The Cologne concert was broadcast on Arte . In the 2013/14 concert season she sings in the Magic Flute “The Queen of the Night” at the Opéra national de Paris .
