history

Fever 333 was founded in Los Angeles in 2017 by former letlive . Singer Jason Butler , the drummer of Night Verses , Aric Improta, and Stephen Harrison, who was guitarist for The Chariot for some time . The band made their first appearance on American Independence Day as a "Political Pool Party" in the parking lot of Randy's Donuts in Inglewood, where the group performed the song We're Coming In , the very first recorded track, live. One day after this performance, the group was officially introduced.

The group is supervised by music manager Peter Katsis , who has worked with artists such as the Smashing Pumpkins , Jane's Addiction and the Backstreet Boys . At a live concert at the Troxy in Los Angeles, the band was also supported by Travis Barker from Blink-182 and John Feldmann from Goldfinger . Barker played the drums on the EP Made an America , released on March 23, 2018 . The group was signed by Barker and Feldman's record label More Hi-Hat , and signed with Roadrunner Records when they released their debut EP . The EP was only released digitally as a download and stream.

From April 27 until May 25, 2018, the band played with Red Sun Rising as the opening act for The Used by the United States and Canada , and also performances at the Canadian Music Week , the Welcome to Rockville , Rock on the Range and Rocklahoma booked were. Between November 5 and 30, the group toured the United Kingdom and several mainland European countries as the opening act for Bring Me the Horizon as part of the First Love Tour . The group has also been announced for the North American section of this tour in early 2019. On November 9th, 2018 the musicians announced in a statement the release of their debut album Strength in Numb333rs for January 18th, 2019 and also released the song Burn It .

At the Grammy Awards 2019 , the band was nominated for the song Made an America in the category Best Rock Performance . However, the award went posthumously to Chris Cornell . For this the song Burn It was chosen by the Kerrang! Awards 2019 as best song. In September 2019, the band had to interrupt their tour activities because singer Jason Butler had problems with his lungs .

music

The music is described as a mix of Limp Bizkit , Rage Against the Machine and Linkin Park . Singer Jason Butler uses both melodic singing and spoken singing in music . The interplay between drummer Aric Improta and guitarist Stephen Harrison is described as explosive and rebellious as well as danceable. The musicians combine metal , hardcore , funk beats and soul , which is why the band can be called a crossover band.
