biography
Luke Combs grew up in North Carolina and sang from an early age. He was also a member of vocal groups in school and eventually began making music in college. After finishing school, he released two self-produced EPs in 2014 . Among other things, it contained the song Hurricane , which developed into an iTunes and radio hit and helped him to a record deal with Columbia in a very short time . The EP This One's for You was released at the end of 2015 and immediately entered not only the country but also the official album charts .
When Hurricane was released again as a single by Columbia in 2016, the song rose to number 1 in the country airplay chart and number 31 in the singles chart . It was awarded 3 times platinum . The songs When It Rains It Pours and One Number Away were equally successful and were all part of Combs' debut album, also called This One's for You , which was released in June 2017. It went to number 1 on the country and number 4 of the official charts and went platinum. In early 2018, an expanded version of the album with five additional songs was released under the title This One's for You Too .
