Jekalyn Carr (born April 22, 1997 in West Memphis , Arkansas ) is an American gospel singer.

Jekalyn Carr self- published her debut EP Promise . The next two albums, Greater Is Coming and It's Gonna Happen , were then released on the gospel label Malaco , each of which made it into the top ten of the US gospel album charts, the former even made it into the official album charts . In 2017 she was nominated for a Grammy for her live performance of You're Bigger .

In 2016, the album The Life Project followed , with which Carr made number 1 in gospel albums for the first time. Also, One Nation Under God two years later the chart peak reached. For the song You Will Win contained on it , she was nominated for a second Grammy in 2019 .
