Robinson was born on July 15, 1992 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. When he was twelve, his brother brought home the Japanese video game Dance Dance Revolution and showed it to him. Later he produced as Ekowraith with FL Studio music in the direction of Hands up . He currently lives in his hometown.

Musical career

After he released his first single "Booming Track" as Ekowraith with YAWA Recordings , he switched to the labels Glamara Records and Big Fish Recordings and produced music under his real name. His first release on these labels was "Say My Name", which reached number one in the Beatport Electric House charts. In 2011 he signed a contract with Skrillex 'record label OWSLA . His first EP Spitfire was then released , on which he said he worked for five to six months. It could reach number one on the iTunes dance charts and number one on the Beatport charts.

After six singles released in 2010 that were not commercially successful, his seventh, " Language ", appeared in 2012 on the Ministry Of Sound and Big Beat Records labels . In addition to number one on the Beatport and iTunes dance charts, it also reached number nine in the British charts and number three in the British dance charts, making it Robinson's first top 10 hit.

In 2016 he announced that he would be going on tour with his DJ colleague and friend Madeon . This is called the "Shelter Tour". Shelter is also the title of their first single together. Shelter can be classified as part of the future bass, which was very popular at the time .
