Heiko & Maiko is a German musical project from Dresden , consisting of the music producers and DJs is Heiko Maier of Schriesheim and Maik Carthusian and the song Happy has become known
Career
Heiko & Maiko have been working together as a DJ team since 1996. In 1998 both began their careers as radio presenters and DJs at the Central German radio station MDR Sputnik , where they hosted their own program The Club . When the radio station MDR Jump started broadcasting on January 1, 2000, Heiko & Maiko switched to it and from then on presented the programs Flirt on Friday and Jump on tour with Europcar . For the latter they were awarded the German DJ Award 2003 in the category Best Radio Show in May 2003 . After some single CDs had already been released, but they did not enter the German single charts, the song Glücklich was released in 2005 , which rose to number 55. The successor single Sonnenschein also reached the Media Control Charts at number 76.
