The Sunloverz (also Sun Lovers , Sun Luver or Sunlovers ) are a German music producer duo from Aachen.
Career
In the early 2000s, Frank Sanders and Bernd Johnen formed Sunloverz and started their own record label Lickin 'Records together . They also publish their songs as Sun Lovers , Sun Luver or Sunlovers .
On May 31, 2004 they released their debut album All Around the World , which brought them their first success in the dance charts. In November 2005 their second single Shine On was released on the label Clubland Records GmbH due to the hands-up- like sounds .
In 2008 they achieved their first chart success with Summer of Love . The single was able to climb to number 68 in the Austrian charts.
In 2012, a song was once again placed in the top 100. This time they teamed up with the Glamrock Brothers , who released on their sub-label Glamara Records , and took on the 1993 hit Push the Feeling On by the Nightcrawlers . With their new version they had a number one dance hit and this time they hit the charts in Germany and Switzerland.
In 2014, Sunloverz released a 2k14 remix of the hands-up song We Are the Colors by Alex Megane and Caroline von Brünken . The remix became the title track of the 2k14 remix single and achieved high placements in the German dance charts.
In addition to their own publications and publications by other musicians via their label, the two Aacheners also work as producers and oversee the Michael Mind Project , among others . Sanders is part of the Michael Mind Project. Sanders and Johnen are also in demand as DJs and remixers all over Europe. In 2014 the duo founded the project Dub Deluxe, with which they released the song Now or Never via Lickin ' and Kontor Records in April 2014 . The song was sung and written by the Canadian singer-songwriter Jenson Vaughan , who has been a songwriter for Sanders' Michael Mind Project since 2010.
