Caroline von Brünken

Caroline von Brünken (born December 10, 1984 in Freising ) is a German singer in the live and studio sector, songwriter , singing teacher and speaker in the advertising and dubbing industry. As a songwriter and singer, she works mainly in the field of house and dance music. She is also known under the pseudonym CvB .

Life

Caroline von Brünken studied jazz singing at the University of Music and Theater in Munich with Reinette van Zjitfeld-Lustig, Sanni Osmaraa and Phillip Weiss until 2009. In addition, she received voice training and voice training from the American vocal coach David Lee Brewer, known as the former vocal coach of " Destiny's Child " and " En Vogue ".

In addition to her work as a singer in the field of jazz music, she also sang funk, soul and gospel. Since 2001 she has been in the Munich gospel choir "Albert C. Humphrey and His Voices of Gospel", since 2006 in the Munich jazz-pop duo constellation "The Two of Us" and since 2009 with the jazz band "hot c" active some appearance.

Musical career

In addition to her live performances in the fields of jazz, gospel, funk and soul, she is particularly active in the genre of house and dance music . She is the singer of numerous singles for music projects such as " Michael Mind Project ", "House Rockerz" and "Phonejaxx", as well as for solo artists such as Giorno, Petty Joy and Carlprit . It should be noted here that she is not listed as the official featuring artist on most guest appearances.

She has her greatest success with the German rapper Carlprit and the Michael Mind Project. The first collaboration with Carlprit began, for whom she was supposed to sing the chorus of his song 1234 . However, the track was not released with the Michael Mind Project, but with the German DJ duo RIO , who also operate the Zooland Records label , to which Carlprit was under contract. Shortly before their second joint recording, Carlprit switched to the record label Sony Music Entertainment . RIO then decided not to participate anymore. Carlprit and von Brünken asked the Michael Mind Project. This came in positive. Since then they have been producing songs together. Fiesta and Here We Go went straight into all of the charts. The third single will be released in November 2013.

She is also responsible for the “Tuneverse” production team as a writer and vocal coach for various bands and performers, such as Haudegen , Glasperlenspiel or Daniel Aminati.

She is also known as the vocal coach for the film production "Rock it!", For which she coached a singing scene and at the same time acted as a vocal double for this scene. The pop stars winners “ Some & Any ” and “ LaVive ” also prepared for their club tours.

Since 2005, von Brünken has also assisted DJs and rappers as a singer on live tours and appearances on television or on the live stage. She is currently touring Germany with DJ Alex Megane . She also appears on her own at events, including, for example, the annual “Silvester @ Kempinski Muc”.

Television career

Since 2010 she has been working as an advertising spokesperson for Germany and abroad. In recent years, spots for film, radio and television have been created in the textile industry such as Triumph, insurance companies such as the AOK and the food industry. But von Brünken has also spoken several times for online learning portals.

In August 2012 she attended a five-day dubbing workshop for the Hermes Synchron company in Potsdam . Since then she has also been working in this area.

On May 29, 2014, she took part in the second edition of the ProSieben show " Keep Your Light Shining ". She made it to the final, but had to admit defeat to Fabian Bruck.
