Language is a song by the American DJ and record producer Porter Robinson , sung by Heather Bright and released on Beatport on April 10, 2012 . Language can be assigned to the genre Electro House and has 128 bpm . The full version was already available on YouTube on March 26, 2012 . The track is also included on the Forza Horizon soundtrack .

Music video

The official music video for the song was released on YouTube on August 1, 2012, after a teaser appeared on July 24 of the same year . It begins with a woman who flees from animals that run after her. She is pushed against a cliff, jumps down and dives into the water. She swims in the sea and sees something glittering and shining. Suddenly she falls from the sky, but is caught by a huge, peacefully minded creature. The woman places this on the floor. When she walks away from him, he follows her and they walk on up the mountains. Suddenly the creatures appear from the beginning of the video and push the huge creature off a cliff. At the end of the video, she runs up to these creatures and they flee. The video was shot by Jonathan Desbiens.

Charts

Porter Robinson was able to place himself in the charts for the first time with Language . The piece was number 63 in Ireland, number four in Scotland, number three on the UK dance charts, number one on the UK indie charts and number ninth on the official British charts. In the UK, the song stayed in the charts for six weeks.
