Family Force 5 (often abbreviated as FF5 , formerly known as The Phamily or The Brothers ) is a crunk rock band from Atlanta , Georgia . According to an interview, Derek Mount said, "There is a major revolution taking place in this thing that we call 'Christian music', and Family Force 5 is honored to be a part of it."
style
Family Force 5 uses elements from rap , post-hardcore , alternative rock , punk rock and crunk, sometimes even a Nu Metal sound.
The band calls their own style "Crunk Rock". Most of the songs have heavy synth usage and simple power chords.
