Cole Swindell

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cole Swindell (* the 30th June 1983 in Glennville , Georgia , as Colden Rainey Swindell ) is an American country musician.

biography

Swindell attended the same university in Georgia as Luke Bryan , with whom he also performed. When Bryan went to Nashville and was successful there, he also brought Swindell to the country capital. First he worked as a songwriter, wrote several songs for Bryan and had two minor successes as co-writer of Water Tower Town by Scotty McCreery and Outta My Head by Craig Campbell .

His parents are William Keith Swindell and Betty Carol Rainey. His father died unexpectedly at the age of 65 on September 2, 2013. Cole Swindell dedicated the first single from the second album of the same name You Should Be Here to him . Cole Swindell has two brothers.

He had his first own hit with the song Chillin 'It . Without a record deal only via internet propaganda, it sold over 100,000 copies, which immediately brought him a contract offer from Warner . The song made it to number one in the country charts and number 28 in the official Hot 100. His debut album, released in February 2014, reached number three in the album sales charts. On May 6, 2016, Cole Swindell released his second album.
