Kristen Anderson-Lopez
Kristen Anderson-Lopez (* 21st March 1972 in New York City as Kristen Anderson ) is an American actress , screenwriter and music producer . She became known through the film song Let it Go from the film Frozen - Totally Unabashed , which also won her the Oscar .
Life
She is the wife of Grammy winner Robert Lopez and wrote the music for the film Winnie the Pooh with him and Henry Jackman in 2011 . In this film, she also voiced the character Kanga . She also wrote songs for the Walt Disney World production Finding Nemo - The Musical .
Currently (as of 2013) she is working on the romantic musical Up Here with her husband and Alex Timbers , and she has also written songs for the Disney film Frozen - Totally Unabashed . She and her husband received an Oscar in 2014 for the song Let It Go . For the song Remember Me from the movie Coco - Alive Than Life! the couple received their second Oscar at the 2018 Academy Awards . At the 2020 Academy Awards , the couple was nominated again for Into the Unknown , but the Oscar went to Elton John .
She has two daughters with Robert Lopez.
