Malwine Moeller

Malwine Moeller (born April 8, 1924 in Darmstadt ; † September 26, 2019 in Burghausen ) was a German opera singer and actress .

Life

Malwine Moeller was born as the daughter of the married couple Walter Theodor Moeller and Luise Anna Moeller, b. New born. She was the paternal granddaughter of Eduard Heinrich Moeller (Commercial Director Dresden, board member Dyckerhoff & Widmann ) and maternal granddaughter of the painter Hermann Neuber (1860-1916).

After three years of training in acting, singing and dance at the Folkwang School in Essen (1940–1943), she started her first engagement as an operetta soubrette . From 1952 she was engaged as an opera soubrette at the Komische Oper Berlin with Walter Felsenstein , where she a. a. Marie sang in the Lortzing opera Zar und Zimmermann .

She then worked as a freelancer in the serious and cheerful character subject. After Wer mit Wem by and with Gunther Philipp , Otello may not burst and Moon over Buffalo , she played from February to April 2004 in the comedy Herzlich Willkommen for the fourth time in the Contra-Kreis-Theater in Bonn . In his first marriage Moeller was married to Ove Barfod (1919–1975), a Danish opera singer. On October 13, 1988, she married her second husband Imre Csatlovski. She died on September 26, 2019 at the age of 95 in Burghausen / Salzach.
