Michael Meichßner

Michael Meichßner (born May 26, 1979 in Bonn ) is a German actor and director .

Live and act

Michael Meichßner was born in Bonn and grew up in Troisdorf . After graduating from school, he first did an apprenticeship as a banker . After this training he took up acting studies at the theater school in the Theater der Keller in Cologne . During his studies he played at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, among others . After graduating, Michael Meichßner worked at the Pforzheim Theater and the Deutsches Theater Göttingen . He also realized his own projects. In 2013 he worked on a contribution listed in the Sophiensaele in Berlin. I basically only play in historical costume . Meichßner also co-designed the late-night project The 45 Minute Show at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen, which he moderated together with Karl Miller .

From the season 2014/15 was Michael Meichssner freelance actor without a permanent arrangement. Among other things, he played in The Wild Swans at the Bonn Theater . During this time he returned as a lecturer to his training facility, renamed the drama school Der Keller. Michael Meichßner had other roles at the Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss as Emanuel Freiherr von Stetten in Zur Schöne Aussicht , as Bobtschinski in Der Revisor and as Reuben in Joseph und seine Brüder . From 2016/17 he was permanently employed in the ensemble of the RLT Neuss for two seasons . He starred in The Maid of Orleans , Rio Reiser - when, if not now? and Othello . At the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam , he will again play Iago in William Shakespeare's Othello in the 2018/19 season .

On Grenzlandtheater Aachen Michael Meichssner had on March 8, 2019 as a director premiere of the play 4000 days of Peter Quilter .

Michael Meichßner also played in several leading and supporting roles in film and television .
