Susan Andrews
Susan Andrews ( Susan Elizabeth "Sue" Andrews ; born May 26, 1971 in Hobart ) is a former Australian sprinter and middle distance runner .
Career
In 1990 she won silver in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland and gold at the Junior World Championships in Plovdiv . At the 1992 Olympics , she came in seventh place with the Australian 4 x 400 meter relay.
In 1998 she won the Australian 4 x 400 meter relay at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur . In 1999 she won silver in the relay at the World Indoor Championships in Maebashi . At the World Athletics Championships in Seville she reached the quarter-finals over 400 m and took sixth place with the Australian 4 x 400 meter relay.
At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, she was eliminated over 800 m in the preliminary run. In the 4 x 400 meter relay she was used in the lead; without their participation, Australia came fifth in the final.
