Career

In the club

Fabio Firmani started his football career in 2000 with the Italian first division club Vicenza Calcio . With 23 appearances there, he was already used regularly in his first professional season, but already switched to second division side Chievo Verona in the second half of the season , for which he could only book one appearance in six months.

Another one-year guest appearance in League 1 at FC Bologna followed before Firmani also went to Serie B at SSC Venice for a year . There he was regularly used again. The next two years with second division competitor Calcio Catania were satisfactory for him.

There he was also able to recommend himself for a commitment to the first division club Lazio Rome , where he had been under contract since summer 2005. However, Firmani only belongs to the group of supplementary players at Lazio and did not make the breakthrough in the first division there. In the summer of 2011 he left Italy and switched to Shaanxi Chanba in China.

In the national team

Fabio Firmani played for Italy's U-21s at the U-21 European Championship 2000 in Slovakia , where his team won the title under coach Marco Tardelli .

He has not been used for the Italian senior team so far.
