The Last Exorcism: The Next Chapter (aka The Last Exorcism 2: The Beginning of the End ) is a produced in 2013, directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly incurred horror movie . Nell wakes up in a forest and is at the end of her tether. She cannot explain what has happened in the past hours and weeks. She also cannot understand the death of her entire family. She moves into a women's shelter and tries, together with her therapist Frank Merle, to come to terms with her past and start a new life. Everything is going well at first. Nell finds a job at the nearby hotel and falls in love with the nice boy Chris from her neighborhood. But the demon who once ruined her life is apparently still haunting her. She can feel it, even if it feels different this time than the first time.

Rotten Tomatoes gives the film a 17% review based on 65 reviews, with a score of 3.7 / 10.

Frank Scheck of The Hollywood Reporter wrote that The Last Exorcism Part II was an "unimpressive sequel of the first part, " but praised Ashley Bell's "unforgettable, unsettling appearance," which in a negative sense is comparable to Sissy Spacek's play in Carrie Daughter would be.

The audience gave the film in the survey of CinemaScore the grade B- .
