Michael Wandmacher

Michael Wandmacher (born October 29, 1967 ) is an American film composer . In addition to his work for film and television, he also appears as a composer for video and computer games.

Career

Michael Wandmacher was invited to Los Angeles by Alan Silvestri to compose an English version of the score for several Jackie Chan films and to participate in the recordings. In this context he then composed music for The Right Arm of the Gods , Drunken Master , Mega Cop and Twin Dragons - Das Powerduo .

In 2015, Wandmacher composed the music for the action role-playing game Bloodborne . Before that, he composed the music for other video and computer games. This is how Shattered Reality (1999), Madagascar (2005), Singularity (2010) and Twisted Metal (2012) came about .

Wandmacher also worked as a remixer under the pseudonym "Khursor" . He worked with the band Godhead on their album The Shadow Realigned . His remix for the song Every Breath You Take by Sting was u. a. used in the trailer for the third season of the series The Americans .

Michael Wandmacher was nominated for a World Soundtrack Award for his work on Voice from the Stone . He received a Hollywood Music In Media Award in 2017 for the same film . A year earlier, in 2016, he received a NAVGTR Award for the composition for the video game Bloodborne .
