David Jensen (actor, 1952)

David Jensen (born September 23, 1952 in Pinckneyville , Illinois ) is an American actor .

Life

Jensen worked as an actor from the 1980s and also worked as an electrician and lighting technician while filming .

At the beginning of his career he often worked with director Steven Soderbergh . In 1987 he made his acting debut in his short film Winston . Jensen worked as a lighting technician for Soderbergh's first major feature film Sex, Lies and Video in 1989. Jensen later took on minor supporting roles in many of Soderbergh's films such as Kafka , King of the Marble Players , The Flipside of the Medal , Schizopolis , Traffic and Ocean's Eleven .

In 2008 Jensen was seen in David Fincher's drama The Strange Case of Benjamin Button as a doctor at Benjamin's birth . In 2016 he took on roles in two films by director Jeff Nichols : in Midnight Special he starred as Elden and in Loving as Judge Bazile .
